Proposed schedule; not every purge is verified as automated
Data retention policy
Proposed retention periods, deletion limits and legal-hold rules for StudioFlow data.
Last updated 21 August 2026
Proposed schedule
- Active workspace content: for the subscription term and while the account remains active.
- Closed workspace content: an agreed export window, then deletion or de-identification, subject to legal holds and required records.
- Trial/demo content: up to 90 days after expiry unless converted, deleted earlier or retained for abuse prevention.
- Financial, tax, payroll and employment records: for the applicable statutory period, with legal review required by country.
- Security/audit logs: a target of 12 months unless an investigation, legal hold or enterprise agreement requires longer.
- Backups: according to the verified managed-provider schedule; deletion may be delayed until backup expiry.
Deletion rules
Requests require identity and authority verification. A legal, regulatory, fraud or security hold pauses ordinary deletion. Removal from active systems does not mean immediate removal from immutable backups. Customers should export required records before closure.
